Johnson's Flooring recently completed a carpet installation in Germantown, Ohio. This new carpet was installed up to the client's living room, bedrooms, closets, stairs, and hall. You can see in the picture above that the new carpet was installed at existing luxury vinyl floors, creating a nice and finished look in this open area home. When the clients initially visited, they were unsure of the exact color of carpet they wanted and our flooring consultants helped them choose the perfect color for their space during their showroom visits and the in-home measurement. The carpet installation included removing the old carpet and pad and hauling it away.

Type of Carpet Installed
The carpet installed was from Shaw Floors. This specific style, Tonal Comfort II (color Quiet Time), is from Shaw's Color Wall, which has been one of our top-selling lines of carpet for the past several years. Shaw Tonal Comfort II is a soft, plush carpet made from Anso Nylon fiber, Shaw's proprietary, high-performance nylon fiber that has been around for 50 years. The fiber is also treated with a technology called R2X that makes the fiber more stain resistant than other carpets. Shaw's Tonal Comfort II carpet is backed by a 20 year warranty.

Carpet Installation Process
Here at Johnson's Flooring, we do everything we can to make the carpet installation process as smooth as possible. Here is an overview of the different stages in the carpet installation process:
1. Select Your Carpet - visit one of our flooring stores in Clayton, Ohio and Springboro, Ohio to see and feel our large selection of carpet samples. Would you rather have us bring out some samples to your home? Contact us to get an in-home measurement scheduled.
2. In-Home Measurement - if you decide to stop by one of our flooring stores and select samples first, the next step will be scheduling a free in-home measurement. After the in-home measurement, we will put together a proposal and send it to you within 24 hours of the measurement.
3. Installation - if you decide to move forward, the next step will be the carpet installation. We will go over how the process will work and what steps you can take (i.e. moving breakables off the furniture) to make the process as smooth as possible.
4. Post-Installation - we will make sure that you are completely satisfied with the installation and will address any concerns that you have.
